Your satisfaction is paramount to us at The American Rugs. If your purchase doesn’t completely meet your expectations, we’ve established the following straightforward guidelines to ensure a smooth return or exchange process:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date you receive your rug(s), provided they are in their unused, original condition along with the packaging. We regret that we cannot accept returns beyond this 14-day period.
  • To initiate a return, please reach out to The American Rugs Support. We are here to help facilitate your request.
  • Should your item arrive in perfect condition but you wish to return it for personal reasons, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, utilizing the same courier service that delivered your rug(s).
  • We strongly advise insuring your return shipment and sharing the tracking number with The American Rugs Support, as we cannot issue full refunds for items damaged in transit or not received.
  • A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns, covering internal costs such as handling, processing, and associated expenses, due to our operation on slim margins.
  • Our aim is to maintain fairness; therefore, we discourage a “buy to try” behavior.
  • Custom rugs, designed and sized specifically for you, are not eligible for return due to their personalized nature.
  • Sale items may only be exchanged and are not eligible for return.

 

Damage Policy: We go to great lengths to ensure your items arrive in pristine condition. Upon delivery, please inspect your package thoroughly.

  • In the event of receiving a damaged item, contact The American Rugs Support immediately for a prompt replacement or refund, at no additional cost to you.
  • Should you notice significant packaging damage, please refuse the delivery, asking the carrier to return it.
  • For minor packaging damage, please note this when signing for your delivery.
  • Any damages to the product or packaging must be reported to The American Rugs Support within 3 days of receipt.

Please note, our return and exchange policy may be updated periodically. It is the customer’s responsibility to review our policy before making a purchase. Any changes will apply to purchases made following the update.
